Water Recycling

Conquest Water Services has been recycling Class II oilfield waste since May of 2010. We treat water that would otherwise be disposed in our injection wells.  The recycled water can be used for stimulation, drilling, work over’s and kill fluids. We are currently able to recycle up to 5,000 barrels of water per day. The recycled water goes through many quality control tests before it is sold for reuse.

Virtually all of the TSS (Total Suspended Solids), bacteria and related iron sulfides (FeS) are removed from the water, resulting in near drinking water clarity. The iron, silica, barium and strontium are also reduced to very low levels. Next, the water is softened which means the calcium and magnesium levels are reduced by 65-80%. Total hardness is reduced by similar amounts. The scaling index of the water is routinely 0. The residual polyacrylamides and friction reducers added in the stimulation process are removed. The final product is an 1 1/2 - 2% KCl equivalent brine with improved clay stabilizing properties and has a neutral pH.

If you are interested in purchasing this water, please contact Jim Goddard (970-381-5005) or Dave Gage (970-381-6871) to set up a meeting to discuss your needs.
